AGINKO HISTOLOGY

Analytical & Digital Services

10 years of experience at the service of our clients, helping them validate preclinical and clinical research through flawless histopathological examination!

EXPERTISE & NETWORK

It is recognized that there is a limited pool of pathologists with the necessary training, experience, and expertise to do good pathology readings. AGINKO is proud to have an in-house pathologist with a wealth of experience in the examination and evaluation of tissue morphology and the high level of expertise in the field of histology, histopathology, and immunohistochemistry.
Concurrently, a unique network of experienced pathologists and scientific experts build along the years allows AGINKO to provide the best, most comprehensive, and cost-effective support to its clients.

FULL DIGITALIZATION

AGINKO recognizes the true value of Digital Pathology and eliminates the issues associated with sharing slides such as the degradation of samples, and inability to share samples of live cells. Digital Pathology enables AGINKO to (1) produce high-resolution reproducible and objective images, (2) to make accurate, reliable, and consistent examination, (3) and to transmit digitalized slides to its clients in a timely fashion worldwide.

Our histopathology laboratory can support every stage of the tissue analysis process, from sample fixation and processing to staining and histology analysis.

HISTOLOGY PROCESSING

Tissue sample fixation, processing, embedding and sectioning

Automated specimen processing

Conventional paraffin processing

Cryostat processing of frozen sections

Processing of specialized tissues (bone)

Immunohistochemical techniques with a range of specialized stains

Even with biomaterials that are “difficult” or “impossible” to process, our extensive knowledge of materials chemistry enables preservation of intact tissue/material interfaces and even recovery of data from poorly embedded specimens obtained from external histology laboratories.
